📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Personalize learning for all students • Differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Augment course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under principal and coach guidance • Maintain the grade book and ensure student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Establish and maintain positive rapport with families • Communicate with and respond to students and learning coaches/parents in a timely manner • Support learning coaches/parents with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Travel occasionally, up to 20%, for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and school requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Any active teaching certificate • Indiana residency • Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office during workday hours • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic student-data representations • Ability to use student data to drive instructional decisions • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to travel up to 20% for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and school requirements
