📋 Description

• Create a positive, engaging culture of learning for students • Provide direct, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences daily • Provide targeted, personalized feedback • Differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Access the learning management system daily, review student progress, and grade assignments • Create a welcoming class environment following course setup and management guidelines • Actively learn and engage in curriculum • Analyze student data and identify actions to improve student achievement • Adhere to state- and client-specific policies, procedures, and deadlines • Support in-class facilitators with classroom management, curricular and instructional issues, and basic virtual classroom troubleshooting • Attend monthly data analysis meetings and collaborate with teachers to interpret and produce student data representations • Complete required teacher induction and annual training • Create or augment course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under manager and content-team guidance • Establish positive rapport with families and communicate proactively with stakeholders • Obtain additional state certifications as requested and maintain active certifications • Work on additional projects as needed • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Indiana • Must have Indiana State Teacher certification in active status • Bachelor's degree • Active state teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to complete training within two weeks • Receptive to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers • Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Experience working with the proposed age group • Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology • Experience teaching in a synchronous environment such as Zoom or Newrow • Experience with online learning platforms
