📋 Description

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on every scheduled instructional day • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience • Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching • Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work • Maintain accurate student records to keep students and families informed and on track • Build relationships with students and families through proactive professional communication • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality student support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field • Active New Jersey state teaching license in Chemistry grades 6–12 • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings • Comfort with the demands of a live online classroom • Ability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per day every instructional day • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools • Proficiency with standard productivity software • Ability to read student performance data and use it to adjust instruction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organization and self-direction • Time management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment • Commitment to professional growth, maintaining certification, and staying current on K–12 curriculum, technology, and best practices • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
