📋 Description

• Partner with Infrastructure leadership to define the long-term strategic vision and build annual operating plans aligned with Stripe's company strategy • Monitor the financial health and cost of Infrastructure, identifying trends, concerns, and opportunities • Build and own analytical models and benchmark key metrics to inform Infrastructure strategy and growth decisions • Track and drive initiatives improving infrastructure efficiency metrics • Support cross-functional execution across priority projects and align product, engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams • Design and implement operational systems and processes, including reporting dashboards, planning forums, and decision-making workflows • Lead strategic projects spanning system scalability, platform reliability, and efficiency • Translate system performance and capacity trends into actionable infrastructure requirements • Drive architectural and resource decisions supporting Stripe's long-term growth

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in strategy & operations, data science, finance, product management, or similar roles at technology companies • Experience working in highly cross functional settings, and in a role that spans strategy, analysis, and operations in a fast-paced environment • Critical and first principles thinking • Ability to zoom out to the most important questions • Passion for digging deep into data and problem solving • Experience in data analytics with demonstrated ability in navigating large data sets and/or SQL • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to speak to leaders across different teams • Demonstrated ability to thrive in influence without authority environments • Good balance of business and technical acumen • Ability to execute with minimal guidance and in contexts with a high degree of ambiguity • Preferred: previous experience in Infrastructure strategy, the Payments ecosystem, or high-scale Fintech • Preferred: ability to facilitate large-scale technical forums and planning sessions, focusing on measurable goals, infrastructure SLAs, and ROI-driven outcomes • Preferred: experience driving solutions for capacity and efficiency bottlenecks and influencing engineering and product roadmaps
