📋 Description

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across all SKUs using historical data, sales trends, seasonality, and promotional plans • Lead the S&OP process and facilitate alignment among supply chain, marketing, finance, and leadership • Monitor inventory, ingredient lead times, and production schedules to prevent stockouts and overstock • Partner with co-manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery and identify supply risks • Build scenario models and risk assessments to inform purchase order timing and quantities • Track and review COGS monthly and provide updates to management • Translate forecast insights into supply chain strategies influencing purchase orders and production planning • Audit and improve forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP, and reporting processes • Own forecasting, inventory monitoring, and S&OP across all SKUs with minimal oversight

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management within a CPG company; 2 years considered for candidates with pet industry experience • Pet food or food industry experience strongly preferred • Startup experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Proficiency with forecasting tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and ERP systems • Comfort building models and running analyses • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Gemini, and willingness to use them daily • Demonstrated experience managing S&OP processes, inventory optimization, and long-lead-time supply environments with manufacturing partners • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset • Ability to work autonomously in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment and take full ownership of outcomes
