📋 Description

• Oversee general accounting operations for multiple asset-managed portfolios • Establish and oversee accounting processes and functions to maintain the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP and company policies • Liaise with external auditors, service providers, and other stakeholders for financial statement audits, tax compliance and return preparation, due diligence, valuations, and related activities • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting • Review periodic journal entries and balance-sheet account reconciliations • Review and clearly present ad hoc analyses of financial and other information to management, external auditors, service providers, and other stakeholders • Coordinate with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Legal, and Tax teams to improve accounting effectiveness and efficiency • Report to the Accounting Senior Manager and Director

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration • 6+ years of financial accounting experience or auditing, preferably with a Big4 accounting firm • CPA • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to multitask across multiple portfolios and prioritize critical deadlines • Impeccable integrity • Ability to manage, develop, lead, and evaluate other accounting team members • Ability to define and establish accounting processes for newly onboarded portfolios based on historical financial information, operating agreements, purchase and sale agreements, debt agreements, and related materials • Ability to research and apply accounting literature, such as ASC 606 and ASC 805 • Experience in the renewable energy industry preferred • Previous exposure to hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV) modeling preferred • Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, and/or Ramp preferred • Experience preparing and reviewing consolidations for multi-tiered legal structures preferred • Interest in exploring AI tools to enhance accounting workflows and deliverables • Overtime as required
