📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Ambulatory, providing application expertise and guidance to clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders • Analyze clinical and operational workflows and translate requirements into Epic configuration, build, and optimization • Support Ambulatory and Behavioral Health workflows while aligning configuration with clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements • Lead assigned application projects, enhancements, system changes, upgrades, and complex break/fix issues from analysis through implementation • Create test scripts, testing plans, and implementation timelines • Perform comprehensive integrated and cross-application testing • Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) • Troubleshoot complex application issues and identify application, integration, or infrastructure-related root causes • Maintain understanding of Epic applications, dependencies, integrations, infrastructure relationships, and end-user impacts • Provide ongoing production support for upgrades, releases, enhancements, workflow changes, and optimization initiatives • Support change and problem management activities in accordance with ITIL processes and organizational standards • Partner with clinical and operational teams to improve workflows, optimize systems, and increase adoption • Maintain application documentation, testing records, change documentation, and system configuration standards • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, science, information technology, business, or related field, or four (4) years of related professional experience in lieu of a degree • Minimum of two (2) years of Epic experience, with hands-on experience supporting Epic Ambulatory • Active Epic certification or accreditation in Epic Ambulatory or another relevant core Epic application required • Strong hands-on experience with Epic Ambulatory core functionality, configuration, build, testing, and support • Experience supporting Behavioral Health workflows within Epic Ambulatory • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on ambulatory clinical workflows and system configuration • Strong knowledge of clinical information systems, clinical informatics, workflow analysis, and healthcare data management • Demonstrated success supporting the implementation, development, optimization, and ongoing support of enterprise clinical information systems within a large-scale healthcare organization • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex application issues and serve as a senior escalation point • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
