📋 Description

• Report to the Senior Merchandise Planner • Create and manage pre-season and in-season financial plans for a specified product group • Track assigned products’ financial performance against planned sales, gross margin, and inventory targets • Analyze data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities for company growth • Reconcile and present financial plans using top-down and bottom-up approaches • Translate financial insights into recommendations supporting business strategy • Participate in seasonal merchandise planning strategies to maximize sales, in-stock levels, and inventory flow • Help plan future merchandise and inventory needs • Collaborate with Category Managers on pre-season strategies • Prepare and present product and financial analyses for weekly business meetings and monthly planning discussions • Evaluate seasonality, trends, and brand performance to help shape forward strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, Operations, or a related field • 1–2 years of experience in Merchandise or Demand Planning, Replenishment, or Financial Planning • Strong numerical and analytical skills • Basic understanding of retail math and forecasting methodologies • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across departments • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment • Eagerness to learn from others • Exposure to merchandise planning systems such as Relex is preferred • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis • Ability to work in a distraction-free remote environment • Successful completion of thorough background checks
