📋 Description

• Own security end to end across product, infrastructure, corporate, and IT environments • Fix authentication and authorization issues across the platform • Improve key and secret management across projects • Harden internal tooling and safely integrate off-band tools built by other teams into the platform • Refactor permissioning and remove sensitive capabilities from admin systems • Contribute to core backend engineering alongside the engineering team • Own security reviews, incident response, and security tooling • Flex across product, infrastructure, and corporate security as business needs require • Work closely with engineers and researchers from major technology companies

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software (5+ with exceptional experience) • Strong software engineering skills, including meeting the company's coding and system design bar • Competence across product, infrastructure, and corporate security • Generalist mindset and comfort owning a broad range of security responsibilities • Early-stage startup experience, ideally as one of the first security hires at a company • Comfort operating with ambiguity and without a fixed roadmap or product managers • Experience with Python or Ruby on Rails is a plus • CS degree from a top school or equivalent STEM background
