📋 Description

• Learn and understand our underlying technology to predict and prevent where things are likely to break • Troubleshoot system problems (in test and production) to highlight the root cause of failures • Execute efficient test plans and perform ad-hoc testing as needed • Perform effective data validation and analysis using SQL • Utilize specification documents to create targeted test plans that exhibit the intersection of business needs and likely tech failures • Leverage AI tools (such as Claude or similar AI assistants) to optimize manual testing, brainstorm creative edge cases, and generate test data

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a QA Analyst in the property and casualty insurance space • Hands-on experience with modern test case management tools • Familiarity with interpreting API documentation and testing • Proven ability to write effective and detailed test cases and test plans from requirements, user stories, or technical specifications • Strong grasp of insurance-related technical terminology and can comfortably communicate clearly and credibly with our development team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required • Designated quiet work from home space
