📋 Description

• Develop and maintain transportation network strategies • Optimize transportation flows and evaluate cross-dock footprints and service areas • Build routing and consolidation strategies to improve scalability and performance • Create short- and long-term capacity plans and identify constraints • Model transportation scenarios to support growth and customer expansion • Analyze transportation costs, shipment flows, and performance trends • Develop business cases and recommendations for executive decision-making • Define and maintain transportation planning parameters within Manhattan Active TM • Establish planning standards and partner with IT and Continuous Improvement to enhance planning capabilities • Collaborate with transportation, supply chain, IT, continuous improvement, and operations teams • Support scalable and efficient network performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field • Minimum 8 years of experience in transportation planning, network design, or supply chain strategy • Experience with Transportation Management Systems, preferably Manhattan Active TM • Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience designing and optimizing retail consolidation transportation networks • Experience supporting supplier-to-retailer distribution networks, including cross-dock operations and final delivery to retailer distribution centers • Experience with multi-origin, multi-stop transportation planning, freight consolidation, and load optimization • Experience developing network optimization business cases, capacity models, and transportation cost analyses • Experience in brokerage, managed transportation, retail transportation management, greenfield operations, or large-scale transportation transformations • Up to 25% travel may be required • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations • Ability to own a credit card and manage expenses personally for bi-weekly reimbursement
