📋 Description

• Manage negotiation of clinical study agreements (CTAs) at study level • Drive CTA document finalization and execution, including contractual language and terms, financial attachments, and investigator grant budgets • Ensure global CTA negotiations comply with sponsor and Company requirements • Identify project- and Company-level investigator budget problems and implement solutions • Establish working relationships with customers and internal project teams • Support global operational initiatives at project, Sponsor, or relationship level • Serve as a strategic point of contact for site contracting and budgeting goals • Establish, maintain, and update training materials • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for global site contracting issues • Oversee contract and budget negotiations and escalation of out-of-parameter requests • Advise study teams and Sponsors on industry trends, norms, risks, and mitigation tactics • Plan contract execution strategy and forecast site-specific execution timelines • Coordinate communications and status updates among study stakeholders and global negotiators • Prepare site contractual templates, payment terms, negotiation parameters, and processes • Identify operational risks and proactively develop solutions • Create and maintain document status reports and update department systems • Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments • Manage discussions regarding fair market value of investigator budgets and payment terms • Identify best practices, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions • Train and mentor less experienced staff • Represent the Company at professional meetings or seminars • Support help desk and issue-resolution pathways • Lead internal training and process improvement initiatives as needed • Participate in business development presentations as a site contracts and investigator budget subject matter expert • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in life sciences, a health related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Extensive experience in a CRO/pharmaceutical industry and related clinical trial expertise (Study Coordinator, CRA, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare Administration) or site start-up experience • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations, drug development and clinical project management procedures • Excellent presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), MS Project, Outlook and Internet • Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work in a dynamic environment • Above-average attention to detail and effective oral/written communication skills • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines • Excellent leadership skills and ability to teach/mentor team members • Ability to coach employees to reach performance objectives • Strong background in issue resolution, meeting customer deliverables and driving best practices at organization or customer portfolio level • Minimal travel may be required, up to 25%
