📋 Description

• Serve as a Momentum subject matter expert and provide functional and business analysis support across multiple modules and business process areas • Work with Department of Veterans Affairs customers, functional teams, technical teams, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions • Analyze complex system, data, configuration, integration, and business process issues • Conduct root-cause analysis and evaluate potential solutions • Recommend and assist with implementing solutions through final resolution • Investigate, document, prioritize, track, and resolve customer-reported issues and system defects • Use Agility, the VA ticketing system, to review, track, document, update, and support ticket resolution • Translate customer and business needs into functional requirements and actionable information for technical teams • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, validate solutions, and support testing • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Support requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation • Develop and maintain functional documentation, process documentation, issue analyses, and project deliverables • Communicate status, findings, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to customers and stakeholders • Participate in customer meetings and working sessions using Microsoft Teams, email, and other communication channels • Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines • Work independently and escalate issues requiring additional technical or program-level support • Build effective relationships across functional and technical teams • Support additional business analysis and Momentum-related activities as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Tier II: 5+ years of applicable professional experience • Tier III: 7+ years of applicable professional experience • Tier II: Mid-level hands-on experience with the Momentum financial management system • Tier III: Advanced/expert-level Momentum experience and ability to serve as a functional SME • Experience supporting multiple Momentum modules and functional business process areas • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting business, system, data, configuration, integration, and business process issues • Experience working with functional, technical, development, customer, and stakeholder teams • Experience in Agile development or application support environments • Familiarity or experience with Agility, VA's ticketing system • Experience translating business requirements into functional requirements and actionable technical guidance • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to explain functional and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate with minimal direction • Strong understanding of business processes, system functionality, and functional/technical solution relationships
