📋 Description

• Own execution of the enterprise Data & AI roadmap across regions, functions, and business units • Approve sequencing and trade-off decisions across speed, quality, risk, and cost • Hold director-level leaders accountable for committed outcomes • Own the benefits case for the Data & AI portfolio from investment approval through post-implementation review • Set measurable value targets, embed capabilities into business processes, and report captured value • Redirect or terminate initiatives that are not realizing committed value • Direct development and operation of the enterprise Data Platform, AI Factory, and related AI capabilities • Set platform roadmaps and approve platform investment • Own enterprise data governance and responsible AI practices, including AI use-case approval • Partner on security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and model risk management • Set priorities, performance measures, governance forums, and execution processes • Monitor progress, escalate and resolve enterprise risks, and provide transparency into commitments and outcomes • Own the Data & AI operating and investment budget • Lead strategic vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management • Drive unit-cost improvement while sustaining long-term capability investment • Build and lead a global organization of directors, managers, and technical professionals • Define operating model and organizational design • Hire and develop director-level leaders and set succession plans • Cultivate accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant work experience in data, AI/ML, engineering, and/or platform leadership roles • 8+ years of experience directly managing or supervising employees • Accountability for an operating budget of $5M or greater and a comparable investment portfolio • Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem technologies, including Azure Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks • Familiarity with foundational AI models such as OpenAI and Anthropic • Experience with FinOps best practices for cloud and AI cost management, chargeback, and showback models • Proven record of delivering measurable business value from data and AI investments • Deep knowledge of modern data platform architecture, AI and generative AI deployment at scale, and data governance frameworks • Experience establishing responsible AI and data governance practices in regulated, multi-jurisdiction environments • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment • Executive presence and effectiveness influencing C-suite peers and reporting to board-level audiences • Experience managing globally distributed teams across NA, EMEA, APJ, and LATAM preferred • Experience leading data and AI transformation through significant business change preferred • Experience in distribution, supply chain, or another high-volume, low-margin operating model preferred • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required • Master's/Post Graduate Degree required • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification • Complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Ability to converse and write effectively in English and other local/regional languages • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations • Ability to interact effectively with managers and above • Skilled negotiation and persuasive communication • Ability to collaborate effectively across varied identities • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills • Adaptability and ability to work under stress and pressure • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to multitask and build effective working relationships • Advanced proficiency with relevant computer systems and applications • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology • Ability to stay aware and alert while performing work
