📋 Description

• Serve as the operational and strategic backbone of the Transformational Classroom and Teacher Development Working Group • Design and improve team operating rhythms, meeting structures, and communication practices • Manage calendars, workstreams, and shared priorities across the working group • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up actions for meetings • Establish systems for project tracking, documentation, and knowledge management • Improve operational processes and reduce administrative burden • Track priorities and ensure follow-through on working group commitments • Draft communications, reports, presentations, and proposals • Anticipate working group needs and resolve operational challenges • Facilitate team check-ins and reflection sessions • Create opportunities for shared learning and continuous improvement • Support team engagement, collaborative leadership, and trust across diverse perspectives • Write, design, and edit communications for internal and external audiences • Interview, research, take notes, and synthesize information • Plan and track multiple projects and workstreams • Translate complex educational concepts into clear, actionable messaging • Develop and maintain relationships with partners across the organization and network • Coordinate communication across teams, geographies, and time zones • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and collaborative problem-solving • Support culturally responsive collaboration and inclusive decision-making • Connect people, projects, and ideas across the global organization and network • Lead or co-lead critical cross-functional initiatives • Develop project plans and implementation strategies • Manage budgets, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation • Coordinate contributors across regions and functions • Track deliverables and accountability • Manage project documentation and reporting • Facilitate project governance and decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a transformational teacher is ideal • Familiarity with Teaching as Collective Leadership • Excellent project and people coordination skills • Relationship-building, design-thinking, and communication/writing skills • Vision-oriented, flexible, collective leadership approach • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Experience designing and improving operational systems • Ability to establish accountability without direct authority • Exceptional ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously • Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills • Experience coordinating large, cross-functional projects • Ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining momentum • Ability to connect day-to-day execution with long-term organizational goals • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities • Outstanding written communication and editing skills • Ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable messages • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills • Strong executive communication capabilities • Ability to work in partnership with diverse stakeholders across cultural differences • Comfort with administrative, innovative, small, large, individual, collective, internal, and external projects • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly iterative, and evolving environments • Ability to manage changing priorities with resilience and flexibility • English required for application materials • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish, French, Arabic, or Mandarin would be valuable but is not necessary • Must already possess valid work and residency authorization in the country of hire • Must be able to accommodate some non-traditional hours for calls across time zones
