📋 Description

• **Key Responsibilities:** • - Manage and oversee FOIA litigation processes, including coordinating responses to litigation requests and tracking ongoing cases. • - Review and analyze case files, legal documents, and records to ensure compliance with FOIA regulations. • - Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other documentation related to FOIA requests and litigation. • - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, to prepare for litigation and manage case strategies. • - Conduct research on FOIA precedents, policies, and best practices to inform case strategy and decision-making. • - Monitor developments in FOIA-related case law and regulations to ensure compliance and identify implications for ongoing cases. • - Assist in preparing agency officials for depositions and court appearances. • - Maintain accurate records of litigation activities and outcomes, reporting on metrics and case statuses as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• **Qualifications:** • - Bachelor’s degree in law, public administration, information management, or a related field. • - 3-5 years of experience full time in FOIA litigation or related legal analysis roles. • - Strong understanding of FOIA regulations, litigation processes, and relevant case law. • - Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence. • - Proficient in legal research tools and case management software. • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly. • - Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. • - U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance if necessary.
