📋 Description

• Serve as TechTorch's senior internal IT leader, owning the health, reliability, scalability, and security of the internal technology environment. • Administer and improve Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Rippling, and other business-critical platforms. • Develop technology standards, documentation, and operational procedures. • Evaluate the technology stack and recommend security, reliability, and operational improvements. • Lead new platform implementations, upgrades, and internal IT initiatives. • Own identity and access management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access control, licensing, permissions, Conditional Access, least privilege, and PIM. • Advance identity security, endpoint protection, and Zero Trust practices. • Manage Windows, macOS, and mobile endpoint security and administration. • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technology support to the global workforce. • Partner with HR on employee onboarding, device readiness, access management, and offboarding. • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, SaaS, endpoint, and identity issues. • Create documentation, self-service resources, and standardized processes. • Partner with the COO and business leaders to administer and optimize internal technology solutions. • Coordinate vendors, internal stakeholders, implementations, deployments, and issue resolution. • Support business systems, integrations, user management, and process improvements. • Use automation and AI to eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency. • Execute IT compliance programs supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, and future security initiatives. • Maintain technology policies, asset inventories, access reviews, and audit documentation. • Coordinate security awareness, training, periodic access reviews, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or internal IT leadership • Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD) • Strong experience designing and managing IAM, role-based access control, Conditional Access, and least-privilege administration • Experience implementing or administering Privileged Identity Management (PIM) • Experience supporting or implementing Zero Trust principles in a cloud-first environment • Hands-on experience managing Windows, macOS, and mobile devices through enterprise MDM platforms such as Intune, Rippling, Jamf, Kandji, or equivalent • Experience supporting or implementing security and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks • Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, SaaS platforms, networking, endpoint management, identity, and user support • Experience leading technology implementations and managing projects from planning through execution • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing initiatives, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Preferred: experience as a primary or senior IT resource in a startup, consulting firm, or high-growth organization • Preferred: experience with Rippling, Vanta, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or similar platforms • Preferred: AI and automation experience, business systems and SaaS integrations, and automation platforms such as PowerShell, Power Automate, Zapier, or Make • Preferred: experience supporting globally distributed teams • Preferred: relevant Microsoft, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certifications
