• Sell Teledyne LABS products, including preparative chromatography, pumps, dissolution and diffusion products, autosamplers, Mercury analysis, TOC, VOC, and GC-Sample Prep. • Find, generate, and develop new customer relationships with end-users. • Assess and demonstrate potential applications of company products or services and offer solutions meeting customer needs. • Develop new accounts and expand existing accounts across environmental, pharmaceutical, contract research, oil and gas, and university research laboratories. • Create awareness and demand for company products. • Hit the territory target for each fiscal year. • Develop and maintain a territory sales plan focused on key accounts and sales stimulus activities, including seminars, product shows, and mailings. • Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing account profiles. • Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs. • Master the basic features and benefits of primary products. • Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Teledyne products. • Demonstrate basic operation of products. • Utilize sales resources, including applications engineers, inside sales representatives, and customer service representatives. • Be available evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a related field and 2–5 years of directly related experience selling laboratory equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Preference given to experience with chromatography methodology and regulatory labs. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. • Basic knowledge of Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. • Follow all import/export requirements and consult facility import/export personnel as required. • Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal direct supervision. • Internal motivation and measurement by sales goal accomplishment. • Space within personal residence for a home office. • US Citizenship. • Ability to travel domestically approximately 60% with overnight stays.
