📋 Description

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for advocates and Sales • Run the customer reference program, including requests, matching, tracking, preparation, and appreciation • Identify, nurture, and track advocates across Sales, Tech Services, DevRel, Product, and the community • Build intake, prioritization, approval, and customer-consent processes • Audit and reconcile customer stories, quotes, use cases, and proof points • Establish a trusted source of truth with owners, permissions, and validation dates • Manage the advocate-customer pipeline with Product Marketing, Content, Creative, and PR • Activate customers for launch quotes, case studies, technical deep dives, videos, events, and keynotes • Coordinate press, analyst, speaking, and awards opportunities • Bridge developer and customer advocacy with DevRel and community leaders • Track references, stories, evidence, deals, pipeline, retention, expansion, advocate health, readiness, field usage, and story range • Prepare regular leadership reporting • Feed customer insights to Product, PMM, Sales, and leadership • Build or partner on AI agents and workflows for reference matching and story drafting, with human review

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in customer advocacy, customer marketing, product marketing, or related program management • Experience creating a program or function from scratch • Experience building or running a reference program with deal matching and tracking • Ability to direct or write strong, metrics-backed customer stories • Experience building and maintaining a customer evidence library • Experience driving adoption by Sales and other GTM teams • CRM and reporting-tools fluency; Salesforce experience • Ability to demonstrate advocacy's influence on pipeline and revenue • Ability to influence Sales, Marketing, Product, PR, Content, and community teams without direct authority • Experience using AI and automation; built or shipped agents or workflows • Willingness to learn durable execution and Temporal's developer and enterprise audiences • Experience with developer, infrastructure, security, or other deeply technical products and audiences (nice to have) • Customer Advisory Board, champions program, or executive advisory group experience (nice to have) • Gong or other conversation intelligence and advocacy/reference platform experience (nice to have) • PR, analyst, speaking, or awards-program experience (nice to have) • PMP, Six Sigma, or similar credential (nice to have)
