📋 Description

• Collaborate with prospects to determine whether their applications fit Temporal’s platform • Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service • Position Temporal as an enterprise development standard against competing technologies and architectural patterns • Foster adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments • Partner with Account Executives on comprehensive account plans for new opportunities and expansions • Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and help them leverage Temporal’s capabilities • Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for other Solution Architects • Travel 25–50%

🎯 Requirements

• Reside within the Central time zone in the United States; strong preference for Chicago, Dallas, TX, or Minneapolis • Exceptional technical communication skills across engineering and executive audiences • Deep understanding of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices • Proficiency building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust • Understanding of production operational considerations, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations • Ability to advise on application patterns and platform architectures • Experience with at least one major cloud provider and commonly used application development and production services • Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, including scoping and sizing opportunities and assessing technical fit and challenges
