📋 Description

• Act as Temporal’s primary customer-facing technical leader within the Majors team (East) • Collaborate with prospects to determine whether applications fit Temporal’s platform • Educate customers and prospects about the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service • Position Temporal as an enterprise development standard against competing technologies and architectural patterns • Foster adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans for new opportunities and expansion • Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and ensure they fully leverage Temporal’s capabilities • Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for other Solutions Architects

🎯 Requirements

• Reside within the Eastern time zone (United States) • Exceptional technical communication skills across staff-level engineering, platform-team enablement, and VP/CTO narratives • Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices • Proficiency building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust • Firm grasp of security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations in production environments • Ability to advise on application patterns and platform architectures • Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services • Ability to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, including scoping and sizing opportunities and evaluating technical fit and challenges • Expected travel of 25–50%
