📋 Description

• Act as Temporal’s primary customer-facing technical leader within the New Logo team for the Central region • Help prospects assess whether their applications are suitable for Temporal • Explain the technical benefits and drawbacks of the Temporal platform and cloud service • Position Temporal against alternative technologies and technical patterns • Enable customer engineering organizations to expand production applications using Temporal • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans • Own relationships with customer technical decision-makers evaluating and operating Temporal applications • Provide technical advice to Sales Account Executives

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing • Comfortable discussing distributed system technologies, design decisions, and best practices • Ability to construct application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance • Experience with at least one supported language: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, or PHP • Knowledge of production application operations, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations • Ability to advise customers on application patterns and platform architectures • Comfortable working with at least one major cloud provider and commonly used application development and production services • Ability to advise Sales Account Executives on use-case fit, opportunity scoping and sizing, and technical choices • Willingness to travel 25–50%
