📋 Description

• Direct strategy and performance for a business office supporting multiple clients and facilities across multiple states • Lead execution of billing, customer service, collections, and reimbursement programs • Lead and manage staff and subordinate leadership, including virtual employees • Achieve and sustain excellent productivity and accuracy • Prepare and administer applicable budgets while keeping spending within budgetary guidelines • Oversee centralized billing, collections, and reimbursement for standardization, compliance, and regulatory adherence • Provide operational direction to assigned sites and business functions • Coordinate site-related issues with Human Resources and Legal • Collaborate on process design, development, monitoring, and policy and procedure development • Manage operational process change, metrics, staffing, and employee relations • Develop tactical plans and operating budgets aligned with strategic goals • Hire, train, and develop Managers, Supervisors, Analysts, and other staff • Partner with Human Resources and recruiting to maintain policies and staffing levels • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets and report and justify variances • Supervise Managers directly and Supervisors and AR Staff indirectly

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of healthcare A/R, collections, insurance, government programs and appeals, including compliance regulations and guidelines • Advanced knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and/or hospital-based revenue-cycle operations • Knowledge of Health Information Management, Patient Access, Clinical Quality/Case Management, Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance • Ability to create and clearly communicate strategic and tactical plans • 4-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Health Administration, or equivalent experience • 7–10 years of experience directing a multi-facility healthcare business office or financial services call center • CPAM or CFHP certification preferred • MBA preferred • Must obtain and provide confirmation of required vaccinations and screenings, as applicable and permitted by law • Must be able to work in a sitting position, use a computer, and answer the telephone
