📋 Description

• Own end-to-end procurement execution across a multi-site market of 50 to 100 facilities • Translate enterprise initiatives into repeatable, field-executable processes • Lead market-level procurement and supply chain performance improvement initiatives • Partner with MCFOs and MCSOs to align procurement strategies with EBITDA targets and service line growth priorities • Ensure facility adherence to procurement standards, GPO compliance, preferred vendor alignment, and capital approval guardrails • Drive adoption of standardized supply and capital templates • Serve as market escalation point for new technologies, vendor performance, pricing discrepancies, and contract execution issues • Use enterprise scorecard metrics to drive actions, accountability, and interventions • Lead market and facility-level materials management performance reviews • Foster continuous performance and process improvement • Lead procurement execution for de novos, acquisitions, and facility expansions • Partner with Development, Clinical Operations, Facilities, and Market Leadership to streamline procurement training and remove execution barriers • Onboard and integrate new facilities into USPI procurement systems, contracts, and operating standards • Provide leadership and oversight to Materials Managers and Materials Management teams • Exercise indirect leadership over up to 100+ Materials Management FTEs • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of Materials Management talent • Establish operating rhythms, communication cadences, and procurement governance structures • Liaise between Tenet/USPI Corporate Procurement, market leadership, and facility operators • Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to travel 50%+ both within the region and nationally, as business needs require • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted on finalist • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field • 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-site environments • Experience leading through influence across large, indirect teams and complex reporting structures • Experience partnering with senior operational and financial leaders, such as CFOs, strategy, and operations • Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to translate data into action • Proven ability to enforce standards, drive accountability, and lead change across complex organizations • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MMIS platforms • Ability to work outside of normal business hours when necessary to support facility operations, implementations, conversions, escalations, and critical supply disruptions • Proven experience leading multiple facilities and driving adoption of systemwide sourcing, standardization, and cost-reduction initiatives • Comfort operating in a highly matrixed organization, balancing enterprise priorities with local facility needs • Experience leading change management efforts and holding stakeholders accountable for implementation and results
