📋 Description

• Accurately and productively code and abstract patient health documentation for Tenet facilities • Review flagged cases in CARDS and RevInt for coding accuracy • Assist in coding quality reviews, audits, and second-level reviews as needed • Attend Tenet coding education sessions and maintain coding credentials

🎯 Requirements

• Associates or higher-level degree in a Health Information Management discipline • Successful completion of at least one AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) certified program; achievement of the correlating professional credential is preferred (RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS, etc.) • 1-3 years inpatient coding experience • Skilled and working knowledge of MS Office suite • Strong technical background and electronic medical record experience • A pre-employment coding proficiency assessment will be administered
