📋 Description

• Manage the end-to-end permitting lifecycle for renewable energy projects in Texas, from initial submission through final approval and Permission to Operate (PTO) • Track multiple permits across different jurisdictions and proactively resolve delays or missing information • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Scheduling, and Inspection teams • Ensure permits meet Texas regulatory, technical, and safety standards • Review drawings, engineering stamps, scopes of work, and other permitting documentation • Maintain accurate permitting records across internal systems • Serve as the main point of contact with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), utilities, and third-party partners • Facilitate submissions, answer questions, and advance approvals • Create SOPs, reduce errors, improve workflows, and support system automation efforts • Share regulatory updates, provide training, and help prevent recurring permitting issues

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience with permitting processes in Texas • Understanding of local, state, and utility regulatory requirements • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders • Comfort reviewing technical documentation, including drawings and plans • Interest in improving processes and making systems more efficient
