📋 Description

• Serve as the single point of contact for managing and expanding the business relationship with a power generation, transmission, and distribution utility across the Rocky Mountain/Upper Mid-West region of the United States • Partner with the utility client to understand and meet business objectives while increasing revenue and profit • Collaborate with client contacts and internal Office Managers and Program/Project Managers to meet utility needs and maintain high-quality delivery • Cultivate working relationships with key personnel at all levels • Identify, pursue, and generate new leads within the client • Develop strategic plans based on market research and analysis of the client’s project pipelines • Manage and lead cross-selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation across multiple service lines • Work with Terracon’s National Account Program to identify opportunities with key suppliers, including AE and construction firms • Execute long-term business and marketing strategies • Build chargeable time into pricing scenarios for account management/review • Work with senior management to improve account performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or another discipline practiced by the Firm, and 12 years’ related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years’ related experience • Experience working with power generation, distribution, and transmission clients • Experience marketing professional services and managing accounts in commercial construction and development and/or power generation and transmission • High level of presentation and sales skills • Strong environmental or engineering consulting and client development background with a specific area of environmental or engineering expertise • Experience in client engagement, proposal writing, and commercial agreements • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required • Ability to obtain Authorized Project Reviewer status by Terracon preferred • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred but not required
