📋 Description

• Leverage programming languages to design and develop software • Write original code and update existing code to meet program requirements • Integrate software components and third-party programs • Verify and deploy programs and systems • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software • Ensure software functions across programs, platforms, and mobile systems • Work directly with US Army mission partners to develop Warfighter solutions • Gather and evaluate user feedback • Assist in preparing epics and features based on user needs • Recommend and execute improvements • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Active SECRET clearance • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience • Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role • Previous government technology experience • Demonstrated experience deploying software with Agile development methodologies • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment • Demonstrated cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies • Experience using GitLab as a version control system • Preferred: Master's Degree • Preferred: Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies • Preferred: Experience working in a consultant/client environment • Preferred: Familiarity with FISMA, NIST, and RMF federal IT standards and policies
