📋 Description

• Establish technical direction and philosophy for the Qualus organization • Serve as an industry expert recognized by clients and peers • Apply NERC/FERC guidelines to transmission planning work • Run steady-state studies • Generate System Impact Studies and Transmission Service Requests • Simulate and analyze client transmission and generation systems under normal and emergency operations • Assign and review projects or job tasks • Mentor less experienced consultant engineers • Delegate, plan, prioritize, and review the work of other consultants • Justify strategy and analysis recommendations through documentation and data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program • Four (4) to ten (10) years engineering experience • Experience running steady-state studies • Knowledge of power system analysis and modeling techniques • Familiarity with load flow software such as TARA, PSSE, PSLF, and/or PowerWorld • Familiarity with generating System Impact Studies and Transmission Service Requests • Recognition as an industry expert and familiarity with applicable NERC/FERC guidelines • Strong analytical and computer skills • Strong written and verbal skills
