📋 Description

• Design, implement, and ship customer-facing AI features end-to-end, with focus on measurement, observability, and real-world performance • Architect and deliver reliable, fast systems handling high data volumes and complex workflows • Improve AI grounding quality through permission-safe retrieval, citations, and evaluations • Drive latency and cost improvements for fast, seamless user interactions • Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams from discovery through iteration • Help define AI product capabilities and strategy • Drive ambitious projects from concept to completion with autonomy • Iterate on existing features including the context-aware AI Assistant and Review Agent

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping 0-1 products to real users, ideally AI products • Strong focus on quality, testing, and security • Solid backend engineering experience • Data fluency and operational maturity • Strong engineering fundamentals • Curiosity about new technologies and unfamiliar domains • Ability to turn complex ideas into elegant, understandable solutions • Iterative, collaborative approach to incorporating feedback • Product intuition and ability to communicate and partner with Product and Design • Bonus: experience with OpenSearch or other vector databases, Snowflake, evaluation frameworks such as Langfuse, or fintech and compliance domains • Technologies used and taught include AWS, Azure, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform, CircleCI, Nix, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Python, OpenAI, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and d3
