📋 Description

• Manage RFP and proposal development strategy and process for higher-complexity, strategic bids from receipt through submission • Concurrently manage multiple proposals with aggressive deadlines • Support follow-up, finalist, and contracting activities as needed • Engage sales, account management, and cross-functional leadership to develop market-specific bid strategies and resolve bid challenges • Format RFP response documents according to Express Scripts’ brand • Research and incorporate response-database content and collaborate with subject matter experts on custom responses • Work with client pricing to provide pricing arrangements and answer pricing-specific questions • Submit proposal responses externally and ensure compliance with RFP requirements, instructions, and contractual obligations • Facilitate cross-functional negotiations to improve compliance and mitigate business risk • Review contracts, coordinate with legal and cross-functional subject matter experts, and redline contracts as required • Review bid requirements, assess risk, and make preliminary recommendations regarding low-risk deviations • Lead cross-functional projects, process enhancements, and departmental initiatives • Develop team best practices and maintain process and procedures documentation • Mentor and train new team members • Solve complex problems and identify solutions from a broad perspective • Lead functional teams or projects and coordinate client presentations • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Skype, and Webex • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to manage high-visibility projects, sometimes independently • Resourcefulness and proven ability to exercise good judgment in problem solving • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities quickly • Adherence to SOPs and available best practices • For occasional or permanent home working, cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
