📋 Description

• Manage RFP and proposal development strategy and process for higher-complexity, strategic bids from receipt through submission • Manage multiple proposals concurrently under aggressive deadlines • Support follow-up, finalist, and contracting activities as needed • Engage sales, account management, and cross-functional leadership to develop market-specific bid strategies and resolve bid challenges • Format RFP response documents according to Express Scripts’ brand • Research and incorporate response database content and develop custom responses with subject matter experts • Work with client pricing to provide pricing arrangements and answer pricing-specific questions • Submit proposal responses externally • Ensure responses comply with RFP requirements, instructions, and contractual obligations • Facilitate cross-functional negotiations to increase compliance and mitigate business risk • Review contracts and coordinate with legal and other subject matter experts on contract terms and redlining • Review bid requirements, assess risk, and make preliminary recommendations on low-risk deviations • Lead cross-functional projects, process enhancements, and departmental initiatives • Develop team best practices and maintain process and procedures documentation • Mentor and train new team members • Solve complex problems and identify solutions • Lead functional teams or projects as needed • Provide and coordinate client presentations • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Skype, and Webex • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to manage high-visibility projects, sometimes independently • Resourcefulness and proven ability to exercise good judgment in problem solving • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities quickly • Adherence to SOPs and best practices • If working from home, cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds
