• Pitch, develop, and write content related to the latest national, international, and sports news stories • Produce compelling segments supporting daily shows and special programming • Deliver quick-turn, high-priority packages while maintaining production quality and editorial standards • Write scripts and collaborate with Senior Producers to refine segment elements and meet quality and timing requirements • Coordinate with talent, editors, producers, and production teams on graphics, video, sound, and other live-segment elements • Organize and oversee all creative components needed to execute assigned segments • Create banners and supporting graphic elements • Identify and pitch story ideas, guests, and interview opportunities • Monitor news, sports, and social media trends for relevant content opportunities • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Broadcast Production, or a related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience • 3+ years of experience in television news, sports programming, or live broadcast production as a Line Producer, Segment Producer, or similar role • Experience pitching, developing, and producing live reporter packages and guest segments • Proven experience writing and producing content for live television • Strong understanding of broadcast production workflows and newsroom operations • Experience working under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment • Regular use of computers, broadcast systems, production tools, and video conferencing technology • Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event coverage, may be required • Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills • Ability to cultivate and pitch story ideas and secure compelling guests • Ability to oversee and coordinate creative elements supporting live segments • Strong visual storytelling instincts and experience identifying impactful video and graphic elements • Solid social media experience and understanding of digital audience engagement • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communities • Proven time-management, organization, and multitasking abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting daily deadlines
