📋 Description

• Own requisitions from kickoff to offer, including hiring-manager intake, sourcing strategy, job posting, screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer support • Run phone screens and provide evidence-based recommendations to hiring managers • Maintain accurate ATS dispositions, pipeline stages, and candidate records • Manage timely, clear, and professional candidate communications • Run end-to-end onboarding, including offer letters, new-hire paperwork, background checks, I-9 coordination, provisioning requests, and first-week scheduling • Serve as the first point of contact for new-hire policy, benefits-enrollment, and setup questions • Track required new-hire documentation and follow up on outstanding items • Audit employee files, identify documentation gaps, and verify I-9s, policy acknowledgments, and handbook agreements • Maintain records according to retention requirements and Wheel’s data-handling standards, escalating discrepancies • Produce an end-of-engagement audit findings and remaining-gaps summary • Write and refresh job descriptions across departments • Standardize job-description format and language and partner with hiring managers on scope and requirements • Ensure job descriptions reflect essential functions and correct classification and leveling, flagging items for review • Maintain employee data in BambooHR and process lifecycle transactions • Generate standard reports and respond to routine policy and process questions • Support e-signature campaigns, compliance tracking, documentation upkeep, employment verifications, and administrative requests

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience in a generalist or combined recruiting and HR operations capacity • Full-cycle recruiting experience, owning requisitions rather than only coordinating them • Hands-on HRIS and ATS experience • Strong attention to detail • Comfort with confidential information and appropriate escalation judgment • Organized and self-directed • Clear written communication • Working knowledge of I-9 and employment eligibility, recordkeeping, and classification basics • Authorized to work in the US; Wheel is unable to sponsor employment authorization • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated industry (nice to have) • Exposure to multi-state employment or a distributed workforce (nice to have) • File audit or HR compliance project experience (nice to have) • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification (nice to have)
