📋 Description

• Process referrals accurately and efficiently according to established workflows and quality standards • Review, document, and assign referral information received through multiple channels to support timely patient access • Serve as a subject matter expert on onboarding processes, systems, and operational best practices • Lead onboarding and training activities for new team members • Develop and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, job aids, and reference resources • Provide guidance and support for complex cases, workflow questions, and process escalations • Partner with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient experience • Conduct quality reviews and use insights to strengthen processes and team performance • Communicate updates, reinforce best practices, and support adoption of new initiatives • Contribute to special projects and operational improvements

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Minimum 2 years of experience in prior authorization, insurance verification, patient onboarding, intake operations, or a related healthcare setting • Knowledge of healthcare onboarding workflows and operational processes • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Experience using intake management systems or similar healthcare technology platforms • Commitment to protecting confidential patient information and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload when working at home • Preferred: Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members • Preferred: Experience developing process documentation, training materials, or standard operating procedures • Preferred: Experience supporting workflow improvement initiatives or operational projects • Preferred: Advanced knowledge of referral intake, patient access, or specialty pharmacy operations
