📋 Description

• Independently handle lawsuits involving No-Fault claims, property damage claims and motor-vehicle accidents • Handle more complex legal matters • Prepare pleadings, written discovery and motions without supervision • Conduct legal research and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients • Analyze substantive and procedural legal and factual issues • Provide timely communications, legal advice and other services to claims customers and clients on legal and factual issues • Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel • Promptly, efficiently and effectively dispose of assigned cases

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of legal litigation experience • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school • License to practice in New York State • Member in good standing of New York State Bar • Knowledge of New York Supreme and Civil courts • Strong legal research and writing skills • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities • Strong communication, computer and technological skills • Ability to quickly leverage new software • Positive-minded and collaborative team-player attitude • Strategic thinking • Thoughtful decision making • Effective relationships • Excellent writing skills • Strong communication skills
