📋 Description

• Own the accounting relationship for a portfolio of clients • Conduct weekly check-in calls covering portfolio activity, financial impact, and next steps • Provide white-glove client service with fast response times and frequent touchpoints • Deliver accurate monthly financials prepared by the team or through AI-assisted workflows • Review financials for quality before delivery to clients • Support business decisions through projections, ROI analysis, and cash flow forecasting • Translate financial data into actionable business insights • Proactively recommend process and system improvements • Lead client onboardings, setups, and cleanups for Controller and CFO services • Manage transitions from prior accountants or systems • Take on customized engagements using research, critical thinking, and planning • Lead and develop preparers and reviewers, including offshore team members • Manage deadlines, provide direction, and give feedback • Achieve client NPS averaging 9/10 or greater • Maintain long-term client retention and on-time, accurate monthly financials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting • 5+ years of accounting experience in a client-facing role • Experience supervising or reviewing the work of other accountants • Strong software experience in QuickBooks Online, property management software, and cash flow portals preferred • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including entity structures (LLCs, partnerships, S corps) and their effect on financial reporting • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and equity structures, including waterfall and distribution calculations • Role must be performed from within the United States • Must currently live and work from a U.S. location • Must be authorized to work in the United States • CPA, EA, MBA, or CMA may be held, but is not stated as required
