📋 Description

• Perform customer installations, repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of laboratory instruments in the assigned Southeast Territory • Provide onsite instrument upgrades, updates, repairs and planned maintenance services • Interact professionally with customers to solve technical problems and identify process improvements • Achieve specified revenue targets through instrument repairs, installations and preventative maintenance • Offer and close sales of service contracts and other service products • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes • Complete Remote Service Dispatch, Escalation, Field Problem Report and Field Service Report submissions • Manage spare parts ordering, usage, returns, physical counts and car stock • Execute Qualification & Validation Products at customer sites • Maintain technical competency through training, staff meetings and staying current on products, markets, customers and competitors • Manage travel expenses according to company policies and guidelines • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, biology, chemistry or related field, or equivalent work experience and knowledge • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a related science, engineering and/or customer-facing role • Effective questioning to identify customer needs • Ability to exercise judgment in setting work priorities and identifying next steps • Ability to work with minimal oversight • Positive influence on the team • Ability to quickly adapt to change with positive and constructive feedback • Experience in a clinical, diagnostics and/or other regulated environment preferred • Aptitude for learning and understanding IT systems and processes preferred • Experience in related product applications preferred • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards • Ability to use required PPE, including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat and ear plugs • Ability to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials • Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts
