📋 Description

• Deliver field service support and manage customer relationships • Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on chromatography and mass spectrometry products • Perform instrument qualification and provide customer training • Meet customer SLA and internal KPI objectives • Ensure customer satisfaction • Share product service and application knowledge with colleagues • Contribute to the knowledge base to improve work efficiency and effectiveness • Assist the Commercial Team with technical information, training, and demonstrations • Document field service activities, including installation and service work reports, and submit them through the required system • Travel up to 75% within the Maryland/DC designated territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, engineering, physics, or equivalent and 5+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing LC/MS instruments, or an advanced degree with relevant experience • Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including component-level diagnosis • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics • Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment preferred • Experience documenting service activities and preparing detailed reports • Ability to train and support customers with equipment operation • Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards • Demonstrated success in meeting customer satisfaction goals • Excellent written and verbal customer service and communication skills • Strong organizational and time management capabilities • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and service management software • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various laboratory environments • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen • Must meet government customer-site identification, screening, and security access requirements • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance; adhere to GMP safety standards; use required PPE
