📋 Description

• Perform customer installations, repairs, upgrades, updates, and preventative/planned maintenance on instruments in the assigned territory • Provide onsite installation and service at customer sites • Interact professionally with customers, solve technical problems, identify improvement opportunities, and drive customer satisfaction • Achieve specified revenue and customer satisfaction targets • Offer and close sales of service contracts and other service products • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes • Complete Remote Service Dispatch, Escalation, Field Problem Report, and Field Service Report submissions • Manage spare parts ordering, usage, returns, physical counts, and car stock • Execute qualification and validation products at customer sites • Maintain technical competency through training, staff meetings, and knowledge of products, markets, customers, and competitors • Manage travel expenses and follow company travel policies • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Requires a BS degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering • Requires 2 years of experience in a related science, biomedical engineering, and/or customer-facing role • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials • Must be able to work overtime and flexible work schedules, including possible weekend travel • Experience in a clinical, diagnostic, and/or regulated environment (CAP, CLIA, ISO, GMP) preferred • Aptitude for learning and understanding IT systems and processes preferred • Experience with DNA Sequencing, NGS, Real-Time PCR, Cellular Imaging, and/or molecular techniques preferred • Experience with automation and robotic systems preferred • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, 25–75% of work time • Ability to stand for long periods while performing duties • Ability to work in a home office and laboratory environment
