📋 Description

• Perform field service activities involving installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of high voltage equipment up to 800kV • Support commissioning, maintenance, overhaul, upgrade, and retrofit projects at customer sites • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and assist with corrective actions • Conduct testing activities and document results using established procedures • Compile and review equipment and test data to support issue resolution • Coordinate work activities with internal teams and customer representatives • Identify opportunities to improve operations and customer service • Support field service projects and operate field test equipment • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Must already have work authorization permitting work for Hitachi Energy in the United States • Trade education in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades, or a college/university degree in a technical field such as electrical or mechanical engineering preferred; equivalent technical training and experience considered • 1 to 3 years of experience preferred in technical field service, construction, power equipment, or related technical environments • Experience supporting installation, maintenance, testing, or repair of electrical or mechanical equipment • Mechanical and electrical aptitude • Knowledge of substation equipment, high voltage equipment, or electrical testing practices • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software • Valid U.S. driver's license • Ability to travel extensively, up to 80% • Ability to comply with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment background or security checks, where required
