📋 Description

• Coordinate clinic appointments for new patients, rechecks, follow-ups, and referrals • Accurately enter appointments and cancellations into the scheduling system • Enter new patient information and process registration paperwork and authorizations via email, fax, or mail • Manage and respond to information requests from workers’ compensation adjusters and case managers • Maintain knowledge of physician preferences and availability • Maintain physician and staff schedules and appointment availability in the scheduling system • Collaborate with a centralized team to coordinate several physicians’ schedules • Communicate scheduling requirements and changes to relevant teams • Ensure compliance with patient privacy and confidentiality regulations • Protect sensitive medical, financial, and other confidential information • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or similar work experience required • Two years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or healthcare preferred • Flexibility and enthusiasm • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
