📋 Description

• Design logical and physical data models for supply chain products and the VALIP lakehouse (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) • Design databases for migrations to VA sites and the cloud • Set data governance, quality, lineage and access standards in line with VA data policy • Tune performance across SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and Databricks • Perform database administration, backups, patching and environment refreshes for senior-level roles

🎯 Requirements

• Senior / Lead: 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in data architecture or engineering • Mid-level / Level II / “Journeyman”: 5+ years in database administration or data engineering • Hands-on Databricks/Spark and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres) • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field • Certified (Maximo) Deployment Professional • Certified SAFe Architect • Databricks Certified Data Engineer • Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer • Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust • Must be able to obtain a VA PIV credential • Location: Remote, USA
