📋 Description

• Plan and run data migrations from legacy systems (VistA, Maximo, DMLSS) to modern platforms • Write data migration plans • Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks using PySpark and Spark SQL • Build ETL/ELT pipelines in VALIP • Write and maintain data mapping and validation plans • Reconcile and validate data after each load • Mask and sanitize production data for lower environments • Support data extraction and analytics requests • Support decommissioning data archives

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in ETL, data migration or database development (Mid / Level II) • SQL and Python • PySpark or Spark SQL • Data mapping, validation and reconciliation for migrations • Experience migrating from VistA, Maximo or DMLSS • Experience with data masking for lower environments • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR or EDI data formats • Bachelor's degree • Certified (Maximo) Deployment Professional • Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification • Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer certification • Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust • Must be able to obtain a VA PIV credential
