📋 Description

• Advance TKDA’s engineering services in the mining market across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah • Develop and implement business plans to enhance capabilities, increase service awareness, and secure surface mining projects and contracts • Align opportunities with annual and five-year strategic revenue and profit goals • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural professionals to cross-sell services • Identify prospective and strategic clients and project opportunities • Track and respond to RFPs and prepare for interviews and presentations • Collaborate with Project Managers on project scope, schedules, contracts, staffing, design standards, technical reviews, expenditures, and budgets • Cultivate relationships with technical and industry leaders through outreach, networking, committees, and associations • Occasionally serve as Project Manager or Project Engineer based on project size and technical/design requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, or Structural Engineering • Ten or more years of progressive experience designing, commissioning, or managing mining, facility, and infrastructure projects • Minimum five years of multi-disciplined project management experience • Minimum two years of business development experience • Thorough understanding of mining operations, processing, and infrastructure • Written, verbal communication, and presentation skills • Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD • Ability to travel up to 20% overnight • Experience preparing proposals, scopes, fee estimates, and capabilities presentations • Track record of securing project opportunities • Ability to mentor and develop mechanical engineering professionals • Ability to apply quality review measures and ensure technical accuracy • Commitment to safety excellence, training, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed • Knowledge of applicable state/federal agency or governing authority design standards and deliverable requirements • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship • Successful completion of pre-employment background screening, including Social Security, education, criminal conviction, and driving history reviews
