📋 Description

• Develop and maintain annual organizational budgets across Together for Girls’ US and European entities • Coordinate periodic re-forecasts and strengthen organization-wide budgeting and planning tools • Produce consolidated financial analysis and reporting, including quarterly budget-to-actual variance analysis, forecasts, and financial health metrics • Develop financial models and scenario analyses for organizational planning, new initiatives, funding opportunities, cost structures, and the multi-entity operating model • Manage financial planning and analysis for an assigned portfolio of grants • Monitor grant burn rates, forecast expenditures, reconcile financial activity to the general ledger, and prepare donor financial reports • Partner with program and project management teams to strengthen grant forecasting and align financial plans with program delivery, staffing, and award timelines • Maintain and analyze staff level-of-effort allocations across grants, entities, fiscal years, and award periods • Reconcile level-of-effort and personnel costs against payroll allocations and grant budgets • Provide analysis for re-forecasting, proposal development, effort reporting, audits, and cost-recharge methodologies • Lead financial modeling and budget development for new proposals • Develop funder-ready budgets and model staffing and other cost assumptions • Support indirect cost recovery and broader cost-allocation approaches • Partner with Grants & Compliance, Finance & Operations, and other colleagues to ensure accurate and timely grant reporting and management • Improve financial systems, models, templates, dashboards, and processes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in nonprofit/NGO finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), grants finance, or a related field • Demonstrated experience managing complex organizational and/or grant budgets, forecasting, financial analysis, and budget-to-actual reporting • Strong knowledge of grant and fund accounting principles • Experience managing finances across a diverse donor-funded portfolio • Experience with institutional donor financial requirements and reporting; experience with government, bilateral, multilateral, and/or foundation funders strongly preferred • Advanced Excel skills • Ability to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, allocation methodologies, and analytical tools • Experience with accounting and financial management systems, including QuickBooks and/or other ERP or customized financial systems • Strong analytical judgment and ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy • Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, deadlines, grants, and stakeholders simultaneously • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills • Experience working across multiple legal entities, currencies, or international operations preferred • Experience with personnel cost allocation, level-of-effort tracking, indirect cost recovery, and/or donor effort-reporting requirements preferred • Ability to work independently in a globally distributed, cross-functional environment • Alignment with the mission and values of Together for Girls • Must be based in the United States or United Kingdom • Work authorization for the preferred location • Availability during core working hours of 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time • Willingness to travel up to 10%
