📋 Description

• Manage monthly financial close and general accounting activities for clients • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors • Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables • Manage Topo team members’ activities to support engagement execution • Support budgeting and planning processes • Work with the team on monthly forecasts against budget, including cash flow projections • Research and provide internal and client leadership on technical accounting questions and updates • Assess internal control environments and implement process improvements • Document and monitor internal controls as part of operational accounting work • Provide hands-on accounting support and partner with CEOs and leadership teams at high-growth venture-backed companies

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in public accounting, corporate accounting or finance, or similar experience • Excellent quantitative skills • Strong experience in spreadsheet software • Familiarity with QuickBooks • Ability to embrace ambiguity, uncertainty, and changing business landscapes • CPA strongly preferred • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future • Organized with high attention to detail and accuracy • Self-starter able to put ideas into action • Ability to shift quickly from high-level strategic thinking to tactical execution
