📋 Description

• Assist the Controller in developing accounting policies • Oversee and support the company's financial procedures • Monitor the company's financial status • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions • Reconcile multiple bank accounts • Provide accounting support to billing and collections, marketing and sales, call center, and clinical teams • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations • Assist with monthly close and producing financial statements • Assist with financial duties involved in starting up new markets • Manage merchant account reconciliation, related issues, and PCI compliance • Work with the insurance claims team on claims funds reconciliation • Manage petty cash and cash deposits with surgery managers • Manage intercompany transfers and funding sheets • Handle equipment asset accounts and loans • Annually handle 1099s and unclaimed property

🎯 Requirements

• Work experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting principles and procedures • Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Experience with cash management and bank reconciliations • Experience with monthly close and preparing financial statements • Experience with intercompany transfers and merchant account reconciliation • Experience handling 1099’s and unclaimed property • Experience supporting and interfacing with other departments in a customer-service-oriented way • Experience with multi-location and multi-entity operations • Experience working with billing and collections teams is a plus • Experience managing other accounting staff members is a plus • Experience in a dental support organization is a plus • QuickBooks: 3+ years (Required) • Accounting Management: 5+ years (Required) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
