📋 Description

• Define and evaluate cybersecurity controls covering embedded operating systems, encryption, access controls, network security, middleware, and secure coding practices • Implement cybersecurity controls for embedded operating systems, networking, and cryptography, including embedded Linux, QNX, Ethernet, and cellular telematics • Conduct cross-functional process activities to define requirements, identify design deficiencies, detect implementation defects, and verify product cybersecurity posture • Collaborate with product development teams to embed security into product design, development lifecycles, and software development activities • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies and update software security approaches, strategies, and solutions • Liaise with external security vendors and partners, manage relationships, and integrate third-party security solutions • Prepare and present cybersecurity-case evidence demonstrating readiness to launch products or release software versions • Train internal stakeholders on security practices and provide expert cybersecurity assistance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with safety-critical, cyber-physical systems such as automotive, aerospace, or medical systems • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, plus demonstrated competencies and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 6+ years of experience • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices for embedded, automotive, and autonomous systems • Strong demonstrated working usage of embedded operating systems including Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR, and embedded networking • Proficiency in recognizing software and hardware weaknesses and security vulnerabilities and documenting them through Threat Modeling • Experience with autonomous vehicle industry or L4 self-driving technology is a bonus • Experience with embedded automotive systems and embedded threat modeling is a bonus • Experience with Classic AUTOSAR is a bonus • Knowledge of cybersecure development lifecycles such as Microsoft SDL, ISO 21434, AVCDL, or similar is a bonus
