📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that power the data architecture • Structure and optimize tables and views for fast, reliable reporting and dashboard performance • Build data quality checks, validation, and documentation for leadership and board-level reporting • Partner with BI analysts and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data models and pipelines • Support leadership-critical deliverables, including the enterprise SPI dashboard and consolidated TES/WBR metrics reporting • Help migrate AWS/Athena-based data delivery to the Databricks platform • Define, instrument, and maintain business KPIs using SQL and Python • Contribute to hands-on dashboard development as BI tooling needs align

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering; equivalent experience considered • Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines, data quality checks, and reporting-optimized tables and views • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or similar for pipeline/ETL development • Experience with pandas, numpy, or other data analysis tooling • Strong SQL or similar skills • Understanding of downstream data consumption and willingness to work with consumers on improvements • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight • Experience partnering directly with stakeholders across the business and working with ambiguous, evolving requirements • Bonus: Databricks platform experience • Bonus: AWS experience, particularly Athena, Glue, or other managed data services • Bonus: Knowledge of relational, NoSQL, vector, and data warehouse architectures • Bonus: Hands-on dashboard-building experience or strong interest in developing it • Bonus: Experience scaling data for ML/AI workloads such as Ray • Bonus: Background in automotive, AV, robotics, or other safety-critical data environments
